  In August of 2009, we received the "knock at the door" from the military. Our son, CPL Nicholas Ryan Roush was Killed in Action. In the days following the Army helps you "get through" the government paperwork and final arrangements. We were asked what Funeral Home and we chose Lauer. They went above and beyond to honor our son, driving all night to get a window hearse, so people could see the flag draped coffin, calling in favors for a flyover... They had a huge staff and were so organized, and tender-hearted at the same time. We are thankful for ALL they did to make the funeral and visitation the best it could be to a fallen soldier. God Bless the Lauer's
